Wonderful Birthday & Family Vacation!

This was probably one of my best house renting experiences I have ever had. The house was beautiful and it was so neatly done with it being on the bottom half of the building. The selections (floors, bathrooms, furniture, fireplace, and TVs) were amazing. The mudroom right when you come in the front door was perfect and used all weekend long. We had three kids with us and four adults and it fit plenty of our ski clothing and boots. The kitchen was fully stocked and even coffee Kcups left for us to use. Maple syrup and chocolate treats left for us too. The house was so kid friendly but still beautifully done. There was a fun room with a box of toys and tons of kids books/games for our sons to use. We had a 3, 4, & 5 year old with us. They loved the bunk beds and the bedding was so full and comfortable. The two main bedrooms were even more comfortable and every room had a tv that needed it. The bathroom floors were heated and had hair dryers, towels, tissues, lotion, soap, conditioner and everything to use. The backyard was huge with kids stuff to play with back there. The hot tub was top of the line and so easy to use. The kids loved the light show it could put on. The fireplace was beautiful and all the windows made the house seem so open. The book left for guests with all the instructions we needed and dining suggestions was amazing. Everything was so well done and we felt like we were at home. We are coming back in Februrary and will certainly try to book again. The owners were so kind and checked in with us if we needed anything before our stay. They put ice melt down each morning and night so it was safe to walk up and down the path to the door in the house. They even called to let us know how bad the snow was going to be so we knew to have our snow tires ready. Thanks for such a wonderful place to stay and just two minutes from the main village. Everything was top of the line and you can tell you put some thought into the house for guests to enjoy. My Response Hi Sara I'm not sure where to start! We get a lot of very lovely and thoughtful reviews, and I always try and take the time to chat and get to know guests as best I can, but was worried that we were away for much of your weekend, so to read this wonderful, beautifully written review on a cold Tuesday morning has quite literally made my week. THANK YOU! We really look forward to welcoming you back to Whistler in the future. Warmest Regards Paul & Sarah

Great stay

Brio house was a wonderful experience, as my wife and I were looking for a place to stay in Whistler that could easily accommodate us, our two grown children, their better halves and 1 very young child. Brio house was exactly what we needed! The wonderful hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating with up-to-date info about events in Whistler, points of interest and were able to provide everything we needed right down to the high chair, electrical socket covers (nice touch!), children's toys and books! Very nice roomy facilities located with easy access to the village trail and Whistler village itself. We would definitely return to Brio house!

A Memorable Vacation

Our stay at the Brio House was EPIC! My family and I (2 adults, 2 young adults & 1 child) absolutely loved our time in Whistler and the accommodations at the Brio were a big reason why. The location was perfect, we basically parked the truck for the entire stay except to load up on groceries the first night. The house provides quick and easy access to Alta Lake and the Village. What really made the house special were the hosts, Paul and Sarah. I cannot say enough good things about these wonderful people. From the minute I arrived, Paul greeted us warmly and was able to provide lots of valuable info regarding local markets, good pizza delivery and how to access the trail system. Their thoughtfulness really came through when Paul brought down a congratulatory bottle of red after my IM race; this was an incredibly kind gesture that meant a lot to my wife and I. The house was very comfortable and had everything that we needed. The kids loved having the use of 'smart TV's' and everyone loved the hot tub! Having additional secured storage for my bike and gear was especially convenient for me. We like to cook and found the kitchen very well outfitted to serve our needs. We cooked several meals during our stay and even when I needed a grill for my steaks, Paul kindly brought one down. We will be back next summer and can't imagine staying anywhere else! Thank you Paul and Sarah for helping to make our vacation so special, we sincerely appreciated everything!

Hi Joel & Viviana Thank you for your wonderful kind words, it really makes everything worthwhile when we meet such wonderful families and Then hearing your feedback, you have made my month! Thank you. Can't wait to see you guys back. Warmest regards Paul

PERFECT... especially for families

I cannot express how wonderful our stay was at brio house. the accommodations were updated and stunning and the location was perfect. More importantly, the home was fully equipped for my 16 month old girl. the playset and backyard was perfect for her to run around in and there were toys and books galore indoors. Paul and his wife were wonderful and welcomed us after a very long and traffic filled drive with a bottle of milk and fresh organic berries for our daughter. we will definitely be back and look forward to seeing you guys! Thanks for great memories.

Dear Ilyssa Thank you so much for you wonderful comments. We take great pride in the business, and it means a lot to us to know that our guests are having, and have had a wonderful vacation. Being parents of similar aged children, we know how hard the travelling can be, so we are so glad the milk and berries did the trick. We look forward to seeing you back in Whistler soon. Have a wonderful summer. Best Paul & Sarah

Wonderful home, fabulous hosts

we had a wonderful long weekend at brio house. paul was exceptionally accommodating and did everything he could do to make our stay as relaxing and as pleasant as possible. we were 3 couples, one toddler and 3 dogs and everyone had a grand time! the kitchen is exceptionally well appointed (although i would say the knives could use a good sharpen!), the home is laid out for excellent socializing area but for maximal privacy when desired. the hot-tub was perfect and the snow/skiing/boarding were unbelievable! we'd definitely stay again! thank you!

March 3 night getaway

We had a total of 4 adults and 4 children stay for 3 nights. Everything was wonderful and we all had plenty of room. Paul the owner was also available if anything was needed and was always extremely helpful. The house is very close to the village which is also a big plus. We plan on coming back next year.

Wonderful Destination, great location, charming hosts

We truly enjoyed our stay. The house is well appointed and very versatile. Loved the gas fireplace, large dining room table and, of course the hot tub! Paul and Sarah are wonderful and accommodating hosts and the property is in a great location...just away from the bustle of the village, but a pleasant 15 minute walk along a well lit trail to the heart of everything. Skiing was tremendous and we also did some snowshoeing at Olympic Park and a spa day at the Scandanave (a must do!) A fantastic overall experience and we would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Family Home

We felt very welcome staying at this beautiful new home. Everything we needed was there to make our holiday with our two grown children and their spouses perfect. It snowed quite a bit while we were there and the walkways were always kept clear. We enjoyed using the hot tub after a day of skiing. We also found the location convenient and were able to walk to the village which only took 10 minutes on the Valley Trail.

Excellent Whistler house

Our family absolutely loved staying at the comfortable, well appointed and convenient Brio House. We stayed here for 9 days for an annual ski trip to Whistler. The house is in close proximity to Whistler Village and an easy walk of you choose. The house is clean, comfortable beds and a hot tub you have all to yourselves. The kitchen was well appointed and we made most breakfasts & dinners. Lots of storage for our big groups ski equipment. We actually found it easiest to drive & park vs the bus system. Parking was easy and the owners were more than accommodating. Pluses: comfort, great location, very good value, gracious hosts, nice & quite neighborhood, private hot tub, very clean house, great value for the spaciousness of the house. Minuses: we found the bus less convenient for our large group but driving & parking at Blackcomb base was a snap: took less than 10 minutes Highly recommend and will book this house again

amazing time in whistler/blackcomb

The house: perfect spot for our holiday. The house had everything we needed and more. our kids enjoyed netflix, the fireplace, the hot tub, the rooms. my wife and i cooked beautiful dinners. the kitchen is very well stocked with all the cooking utensils you could think of. i would recommend to maybe have a bit more spices available (we left some behind :) ) Paul makes sure the path to the main door and hot tub are always clear and easy to access. The owners: Paul & sarah are quite amazing. Not only very accommodating, but definitely very warm and accessible. From the booking process, communication was always excellent. Paul would answer within a few hours or minutes of my enquiry and would always be very helpful. From the previous reviews of their former property in tree line, one could guess paul and sarah would be very nice people. we were not disappointed. Thanks guys. The location: Perfect for a short 15 minute walk to the village. Bus stop just around the corner. beautiful setting. quite, would definitely go back. paul & sarah, thanks a lot for your warmth. For making our stay so enjoyable. For your help and great tips. we really hope we can make it back there at some point in time. keep in touch. cheers from melbourne, australia!!!!

Dear Eduardo My apologies for not responding to your review sooner, it appears our web host has some glitches. Thank you so much for your kind words and review, it was truly a wonderful experience having you guys to stay, and dare I say we have missed your happy and enthusiastic presence around Brio House. I've taken not of your feedback and will address the points on adding a wider range of herbs and spices, although not everyone is as great in the kitchen as you guys obviously are! We truly hope to see you back in Whistler one day and I will get that ski day with you! Warmest Regards Paul
